  • Yes, we ask your help in protecting this special structure by observing the following:
  • no tape, nails, rope or other material can be used to attach anything to Sydonie's walls or trees without prior discussion with the owners. It is Sydonie Mansion's sole discretion as to what will be allowed.
  • Encourage your guests to wear sensible shoes for comfort and safety in an outdoor setting. No stiletto heals are allowed on the front porch or Bridal Suite wooden floors with out heal covers.
  • No fireworks, rice or confetti are allowed. Yes you may do a sparkler or bubble send off
  • Local zoning does not allow the direct sale of alcohol. However, you may serve alcohol by a licensed caterer.
  • All weddings and events are required to purchase a day of 1 million dollar liability insurance policy with added coverage for the serving of alcohol. There are several companies that provide this type of coverage. Check out this link from Statewide Insurance                          The policy is from Travelers and they cover you for the event day only and are not expensive. They can also provide you with very helpful additional coverage options.
  • We are continuing to restore Sydonie Mansion, so please forgive us if certain sections of the mansion are under repair. They should not impact your event.
  • Sydonie's front lawn is a beautiful spot for your wedding with moss covered oaks and a view of the lake. 
  • The front yard is large enough to set up a tent if you desire to ensure you have plenty of covered space for your guests. Tent rental fees and a day of permit would be your expense. 
  • Access to the premises for set up may begin starting at 1 pm on the day of your event.  
  • If you are planning an early wedding before noon, let us know and we can work with you to accommodate your needs for a small additional charge.
  • All music must end by 10 pm
  • All guests must be gone from the property and all clean up completed by 11 pm. We are closed on  Sundays.

Your Perfect Wedding Venue

What are your operating hours?
  • Sydonie's venue rental prices start at $5500  and are for up to a guest count of 150 guests.  This gives you up to 10 hours of access including set up and take down. Discounts may be available for certain week days and times for smaller events. Call to discuss pricing and venue availability. Ask about any seasonal discounts occasionally offered.
  • All Weddings at Sydonie Mansion require an event coordinator. We can refer you or you may hire your own, but you must have a professional event planner for at least the day of your event to ensure everything is coordinated and well managed.
How Much Does it cost?
How do i reserve a date?
  • Click on the booking link at the bottom of the page to access our calendar for a view of available dates. A date is not considered reserved until a hold deposit has been received. Once a deposit is received and we hold your date, the deposit is non refundable after 10 days. Please give us a call with any questions.
  • We have enough space for approximately 100 vehicles and will have someone directing parking for one hour before your event to get the spacing established

  • Access to the venue between the hours of 1 pm and 11 pm including set up and clean up.
  • Sydonie Mansion is an outdoor wedding venue. We rent you a magical 5 acre backdrop for your special event. However, we do not provide services at this time. If helpful, we can refer you to a very experienced event planner who can help you plan your entire event or work with you as a day of planner. Inquire for more details. 
  • Food and Alcohol can only be served by a licensed caterer. We have a list of preferred caterers who are allowed to cater at Sydonie and provide the best food and service in central Florida to meet any budget.
  • See the the link for the layout for the areas that are accessible for use. They include the front lawn facing the lake, the magical boathouse near the lake, the large wrap around covered front porch, covered arcade walkways and courtyard. 
  • We have 150 white wedding chairs, along with twenty one 60 inch round tables and twenty 6  ft, two 8 ft. and one 4 ft. rectangular tables that can be included in your rental fee.
