As a winter retreat for the Laughlin Family and then the girl’s dormitory for   Hampden DuBose Christian Academy, Christmas time at Sydonie is a family affair.  Tradition of holiday hospitality with decorations, music, food and gifts during Christmas at Sydonie are magical.

 With Christmas trees sprinkled throughout the private residence, surprises are around every corner as your guide will lead you through three floors, as well as a special basement of this forgotten Florida treasure.  The tour will immerse you with the historical highlights, incredible original architectural details, stories of the owner's extensive ongoing restoration, and point out the special  antique collection throughout the house.

Sydonie Mansion is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all of our visitors. However, due to the historic nature of building and the extensive grounds, visitors may experience some challenges with access.

Visitors on this tour will climb four flights of stairs and will stand for the duration of the tour (seating is not available). Because of the historic architecture, only the first flooring is accessible by wheelchair only.


Sydonie Mansion guests with mobility issues, will have limited access to upper levels of the Mansion. We provide ramps to first floor living rooms of the Mansion and courtyard.  We do offer a reduced-price admission for this limited access tour, you must contact our Guest Services  321-236-1534,  before your arrival for accommodations.
